Asset Plus Companies
was founded in Houston, Texas in 1986 as a third-party property
management firm specializing in providing a variety of real estate
services to investors, developers, and institutional owners of
multifamily, student housing and office/retail property types. In
1998, the company expanded its' student housing presence and formed a
student housing division, Asset Campus Housing, which is presently one of the largest privately owned student housing companies in the country.
Today, Asset Plus Companies currently oversees a portfolio of 170
properties across the continental United States consisting of
approximately 22,000 residential units, 21,000 student housing beds and 2.5 million square feet of office and retail.
To accommodate this workload, the company has assembled a staff of over
1,000 employees in 19 states with expertise in property management,
asset management, development, acquisitions/dispositions,
leasing/marketing, financial analysis, construction supervision,
accounting, and REO/Receivership.
Additionally, Asset Plus
is a member of the Houston Apartment Association, Texas Apartment
Association and National Apartment Association. We are members of the
National Multihousing Council and have been recognized by the Institute
of Real Estate Management (IREM) as an Accredited Management
Organization (AMO) firm.
