Vice
President
Ryan joined Asset Plus working in the
Acquisitions/Dispositions and Business Development divisions. Since
being at Asset Plus, Ryan has earned his Real Estate Salesperson
License, CCIM designation
(Certified Commercial Investment Member) and has become an active
member of ULI (Urban Land Institute). He also plans on taking the
CFA Level I Exam this fall and earning the CFA designation within
the next few years. Ryan is proud to be the youngest member on the
Vanderbilt University faculty payroll co-teaching an intensive
business strategy course for sophomores, juniors and seniors this
summer.
Prior to his work at Asset Plus
Companies, Ryan worked in the investment banking division of Goldman
Sachs with responsibilities that included the execution of M&A and
financing transactions in the industrial, energy, utilities and
chemical industries. He has gained experienced in many valuation
methods by building DCF, LBO, NAV and WACC models. He earned his
Series 7 license while working with Goldman Sachs.
Ryan completed his summer internship,
prior to working full-time at Goldman Sachs, in the investment
banking division of Banc of America Securities taking on significant
responsibilities such as the creation of an offering memorandum,
data room construction and functionality, confidentiality agreements
and bid process letters while working on $6.0 billion sell-side
deal. He also aided his teams with management meetings and
transaction pitches.
Ryan graduated in
3 ½ years, with honors, from Vanderbilt University, while competing
on the Varsity soccer team. He earned a Bachelor Degree in
Economics with minors in Financial Economics and Corporate
Strategy. During the completion of his degree at Vanderbilt, Ryan
studied International Finance and International Trade at the London
School of Economics in London, England. He continued his education
in Spanish and Cultural Studies while participating in intensive
immersion programs in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Montevideo,
Uruguay.
