Development Criteria

Our experience and market knowledge as a national property management company enables us to identify strategic development opportunities for multifamily and student housing with institutional investors. We design projects that meet the highest standards and base our investment criteria on solid fundamentals to mitigate risk and outperform our competitors.

Asset Size

We typically seek development opportunities for communities of 200 units or more but will consider smaller projects in select markets, such as infill locations or close proximity to campus. In evaluating potential development sites, we generally seek infill sites of at least 3 acres and suburban sites of at least 10 acres. We also have the ability to add a retail component and create unique mixed use developments.

Deal Structure

Asset Plus invests directly but will consider joint-venture structures on a case-by-case basis.
