Asset Campus Housing, a leader in the management and development of student housing properties nationwide, announced today that it has received final zoning approval on a 16.24 acre site to develop an off-campus student housing project near the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The 648-bed development will be located on Beechwood Avenue south of Highway 62 within walking and biking distance of the University.

The community will offer fully furnished one-, two- and four-bedroom units, with private bathrooms for each bedroom along with washers, dryers and walk-in closets.

Asset Campus Housing’s development will feature a 10,100-squarefoot clubhouse with a fitness center, Full Swing golf simulator, theater room, computer lab, fully-amenitized game room with custom gaming stations, wireless Internet café, resort-style pool and a pro-style sand volleyball court.

Construction of the new student housing development will begin in spring 2012 and pre-leasing will begin in September 2012.  The development is scheduled to be completed and open to residents for the 2013-2014 academic school year.

With an increase in resident retention, traffic, and portfolio wide prelease average, the student housing company is proud to announce their 2011 leasing statistics.

2011 ACH Leasing Statistics:

42% Portfolio Wide Resident Retention Rate

33 Properties Achieved a 40% or Higher Resident Retention Rate

97% Portfolio Prelease Average

31 Properties and 16,742 Beds were added to the ACH Portfolio in 2011

These statistics are some of the student housing industry's largest numbers as well as company records. Asset Campus Housing sets the bar high for resident retention beginning on the first day of move-in.  Supervisors, Marketing Directors and the entire property staff are hands on to ensure that move-in day is as streamline and stress-free as possible for all parents and students transitioning back to school.  The ACH onsite staffs work diligently throughout the year to build relationships and strengthen a community environment for all residents to ensure renewals during the fall leasing season.

With the fundraising efforts from employees, residents and friends and family members, Asset Plus Companies raised over $10,000 for the 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, Autism Speaks, in 2010.  We have decided to use this money to sponsor the 2011 Walk Now for Autism Speaks event at Houston's Reliant Stadium this coming October.

"Powered by volunteers and families with loved ones on the autism spectrum, this successful grassroots fundraising effort not only generates vital funds for autism research but also raises awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder."

The Asset Plus team had such a great time at last year's Walk Now for Autism Speaks event, that we anticipate many more of our Houston corporate employees, managers and residents participating this fall.  In order to sign up to be on our team, please follow this link: http://www.walknowforautismspeaks.org/houston/assetplus
